DM Sound Limited (DMS) was founded in 2008 by Darren Millington Tech. Inst. SCE. DMS is based in Northamptonshire but is able to travel all over the UK, Europe and beyond.   As well as PA/VA installation, commissioning and maintenance, DMS is available at short notice for fault call-outs to your PA/VA system and our work can be done on a short or long term contract basis.  DMS has full manufacturer training as well as being a holder of an JIB ECS gold card (CSCS affiliated) for installation, commissioning and maintenance of emergency systems. DMS also holds PASMA certificate for the safe erection of scaffold towers and an IPAF licence for the safe usage of mobile elevated work platforms; DMS is also a member of the Institute of Sound and Communication Engineers.  MS uses the latest NTI technologies for testing and commissioning PA/VA systems as well as fully calibrated instruments for all other measurements.  We specialise in working with Bosch Praesideo and Application Solutions public address system components but are also fully versed in Ateis, Baldwin Boxall, SigNet, VxLan and many others... Our core business is subcontracting our PA/VA services to companies such as VCP Services Limited (UK), Navcom Electronics (ROI), Xtralis (UK) and Ateis (UK) as well as supplying our direct customers with tailor made services to fit their exact needs.  Public Address and Voice Alarm Installation We can install, commission and maintain your PA / VA system complying, where necessary, to the following British standards:BS 5839-8 Code of practice for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of voice alarm systems. BS EN 60849 Sound systems for emergency purposes. BS 7827 Code of practice for designing, maintaining and operating emergency sound systems at sports venues. Sound Transmission Index Testing Using the latest technologies from NTI, we are able to quickly and efficiently measure the STI-PA of your system in many locations through out your premises to gain a real picture of the intelligibility of your system. This information is then compiled in one easy to read document which shows the average STI and CIS figures for your system. Rack Builds DMS can build your system rack, test and configure it either on site or at a location of your choice. Audio Editing DMS can record your voice evacuation or public address message using professional voice-over artists and then edit the messages together with sounds and alert noises to create high quality announcements for your public address or voice alarm system.  Documentation DMS can produce your technical documentation including operation and maintenance manuals, surveys and full technical reports. As standard all maintenance visits are documented in the visit report stating all tests carried out, results and recommendations if the results are outside the parameters set in the relevant British standard or manufacturers guidance.
